As a UPS Part-Time Twilight Sort Associate, you process the heavy wave of commercial and residential pickup packages during the peak evening sort window inside our package center, routing every parcel with accuracy toward its correct outbound trailer before the night linehaul departure window opens.
- Commercial Volume Processing: Sort the dense evening volume of business pickup packages, reading destination labels and routing parcels accurately onto outbound belts and trailer lanes at a sustained pace throughout the peak twilight window.
- Pallet Building: Stack sorted packages onto outbound pallets in stable, weight-distributed configurations and apply shrink-wrap securely before pallets are moved to the dock for trailer loading.
- Multi-Function Flexibility: Rotate between sorting, loading, and unloading assignments as directed by the twilight sort manager, adapting fluidly to wherever the facility's volume bottleneck is heaviest each evening.
