Role Overview & Responsibilities

As a UPS Part-Time Hub Unloader, you physically pull packages from loaded inbound trailers at the unload belt during a focused 3.5 to 5 hour shift inside our package center, setting the pace for the entire sort operation with your speed and accuracy at the trailer door.

• Trailer Unloading: Enter fully loaded 53-foot trailers and systematically pull packages from floor-to-ceiling stacks, placing every parcel label-side up on the inbound conveyor belt at a sustained rate that meets the facility's hourly unload target throughout your shift.
• Irreg Flagging: Identify and divert oversized packages, hazmat items, and non-conveyable freight at the point of unload before they enter the main sort conveyor, placing them in designated specialty lanes for manual routing.
